Summary

Asymptote’s third anniversary celebrations took us to London for the first time where a panel of acclaimed guest speakers ranging from literary critics to translators discussed the influence of translated texts on their practice, the role of translation and language in the global literary context, and the impact a translation can have on the international reception of a work of literature. This talk was followed by a lively Q&A session with the audience.
